Cookie Policy
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser to remember information between pages or visits. Similar tools, such as browser local storage, can serve the same purpose. This policy explains the technologies used by iWP.es.
2. Cookies used by iWP.es
The current setup does not use analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. It does use first-party technical and functional cookies needed for language choice, shopping, the cart, customer accounts and security:
| Cookie | Purpose | Typical lifetime |
|---|---|---|
pll_language |
Remembers the language selected through Polylang. | 1 year |
woocommerce_cart_hash |
Detects changes to the shopping cart. | Session |
woocommerce_items_in_cart |
Records whether the cart contains products so its contents can be refreshed. | Session |
wp_woocommerce_session_* |
Links the visitor to cart and session data held in the database. | Usually 2 days |
woocommerce_recently_viewed |
Supports a recently viewed products feature when enabled. | Session |
wordpress_test_cookie |
Checks whether the browser accepts cookies when accessing sign-in. | Session |
wordpress_logged_in_* |
Keeps a signed-in customer authenticated. | Session or chosen period |
wordpress_sec_* |
Secures authentication and access to protected areas. | Session or chosen period |
wp-settings-* / wp-settings-time-* |
Keeps interface preferences for signed-in users where WordPress needs them. | 1 year |
Names ending in * include a variable identifier. Cart and session cookies appear when a visitor interacts with the shop, for example by adding a product. Lifetimes may change if the WordPress or WooCommerce configuration changes.
3. Third-party services
When card payment is selected, the customer is redirected or connected to the secure Redsys environment. Redsys and the relevant bank may use their own cookies to authenticate, prevent fraud and complete payment; those cookies are governed by the information shown in that environment. iWP.es also downloads fonts from Google Fonts. That request shares technical connection data with Google, although Google Fonts does not need to set an iWP.es cookie.
4. Legal basis and cookie controls
The cookies listed above are needed to deliver a feature you request, preserve security or remember your language, and are not used to create advertising profiles. You can delete or block them in your browser settings. Blocking technical cookies may prevent language selection, the cart, checkout or sign-in from working properly.
If we later add analytics, advertising or any other non-essential cookie, we will ask for consent before setting it and provide a way to accept, reject or withdraw that choice.
5. Further information and changes
See the Privacy Policy for details of who handles data linked to these technologies and how to exercise your rights. Cookie questions can be sent to hola@iwp.es. We will revise this policy when the site’s configuration changes. Last updated: 3 August 2026.
